If you want to build a rapport with the people who work for you, you’re going to have to bring that good cop side out of you. It is so easy for business owners to get a little too power hungry and forget how to treat employees the way they deserve to be treated. This is a recipe for disaster in terms of moral.

So, if you want to get on their side you need to get to know your employees. Interact with them on a personal level and speak to them like a normal human being – not like you own them.
